A fine lake and mountain view

Waking up to sweeping views of Lake Lucerne and Mount Pilatus was amazing. The terrace dining added to the magical experience, with friendly staff like Gabriela making our meals lovely.

Be prepared for the steep hill from the train station, which could be quite a workout, especially with luggage. The bathroom also felt a bit dated but functional.

Dining at Roggerli was a culinary adventure! The breakfast offered a good variety, with awesome coffee to kickstart the day. Plus, the view from our Double Room with Balcony and Lake View was fine.

While the bathroom could use a little update, and the air conditioning through a freestanding unit was a bit quirky, the overall charm of the place shines through.

Everything was very convenient, so were magnificent views over the lake. My comfortably furnished room included comfy bed, climate control, a balcony and a mobile.

The fine view of Lake Lucerne was lovely! Breakfast was solid, with a good variety. But the steep hill from the train can be tough with luggage 😅

Very nice overall experience. Quiet and perfect place with accommodating staff and amazing location in the Lucern area. Location right by Lake Luzern, the train station below, and the hotel's restaurant. Gorgeous and good breakfast, a good choice of food and beverages...

A bit small bathroom.

Good hotel with great wi-fi, an outdoor dining area, and a helpful staff. They assisted me with transport on my first visit, which I remember fondly. I recommend getting help for taxis if you have luggage. I'm coming back for a city trip!

Had an amazing weekend at roggerli! The view from our double room, balcony lake view, was nothing short of amazing. The staff were pretty good!

We enjoyed fine views of Lake Lucerne from our room, which seemed like an adventure for the kids. The hotel was a great jumping-off point for family excursions, and we especially loved the amazing breakfast spread that catered to everyone's tastes. The staff was also accommodating, quickly setting up our room for two adults and two little ones.

In my wife's opinion, a dedicated play area for kids would enhance the family experience.

The views from the balcony of our Double Room Balcony Lake View were amazing! Waking up to the sight of Lake Lucerne and Mount Pilatus was a highlight. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast spread had an amazing variety, including rich, delicious options. The hotel staff prepared food for us when we arrived late one day, really considerate. We appreciated the tea and coffee facilities available on the floor. They were a nice touch. Toward the end of our stay, I did notice that the shower could alternate temperatures unexpectedly sometimes, a bit frustrating. The steep hill from the train station felt challenging, especially when carrying heavy luggage, so I'd recommend taking a taxi instead. These minor inconveniences aside, I would definitely consider returning to enjoy those gorgeous views again.
